# Working hours and holidays

> Set when business-hours clocks run.

## Working hours

Business-hours targets count only this time.

| Setting | What it does | Default |
| - | - | - |
| Hours | The hours for each day of the week. | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM |
| Time zone | The time zone for all hours and holidays. | Your browser’s time zone |

## Holidays

Business-hours clocks skip these days. Holidays are optional.

| Repeats | Use for |
| - | - |
| Once | A single date. |
| Same date yearly | A fixed date, such as July 4. |
| Weekday rule | A day such as the fourth Thursday of November. |

For **Same date yearly**, turn on **On a weekend, observe on the nearest weekday** to move weekend holidays.
